Starting tomorrow, December 1st, we are starting our 25 days of Christmas. We have something planned for each day. I'm excited to see how it all goes. Some days that I know will be busy are easy crafts or just coloring, but it's fun to have a plan for every day. Here's our 25 day plan. I hope some of these ideas you can use as well. - Put up Christmas tree and start decorating - make paper chain garland for tree
- Paint sun catcher ornaments and hang on tree (bought at $ store)
- Make sparkly beaded snowflake ornaments (instructions)
- Make felt Christmas tree ornaments - cut tree shapes from green felt and decorate with seguins, glitter, etc.
- Taking Christmas family picture & visiting Santa
- Making a large paper Christmas tree to hang on front door
- Putting out nativity & Christmas caroling
- Making homemade Christmas cards for family (there are lots of ideas online if you google it)
- Cutting and decorating snowflakes for door and windows
- Glitter art (draw Christmas shapes with glue and sprinkle glitter)
- Christmas coloring (lots of coloring pages online if you google them)
- Making a gingerbread house
- Holiday cooking & baking and then delivering goodies to friends
- Buying a toy for Toy for Tots
- Making a family photo wreath (instructions)
- Making gifts for classmates & teachers (Reindeer cups)
- Christmas cookies
- Christmas parties at Kids Day Out
- Christmas movie night
- Making Christmas placements for Christmas dinner
- Stamping napkins for Christmas dinner
- Driving to DeeDee's for Christmas - planning on taking some holiday goodies for road trip
- Paper bag reindeer puppet (instructions)
- Christmas Eve service
- Birthday cake for Jesus for breakfast & opening gifts
