We went to the Amazingly Fun Farm last night. The boys had a blast . There were games, a corn maze, hayride, and then they got to pick gourds & pumpkins right off the vine at the pumpkin patch. This will be a new annual tradition. It was a great day and the boys crashed when we got home. They even slept until 8 this morning, which everyone with little kids knows that is sleeping late. It was nice! Here are a few pics from the evening,

I'm officially a minivan driving, soccer mom now :)
First of all, I know it's been ages since I posted. It's seriously been the craziest and busiest few months of my life. I love photography, scrapbooking, and blogging and have had no time for all three this summer, but hopefully now that school has started we will get into a routine and I can find some time again. So, I'm sorry for being MIA.
Anyway, onto the news of the day. It was Cole's first soccer game. I took lots of pics and tried to narrow the ones on here down to a few, but it's hard. For those that don't know, Jason is the coach of Cole's team and the boys did great today though I must say, at times it was quite humorous. Here some pics highlighting the day.
Later this week, I'll try to post other pics from our summer and the first day of school. :)

We're back home with lots of pics to share
We actually got back home last Saturday night, but then had family in town and a busy week, so I'm just now getting around to downloading pictures from our trips. We've had a great couple of weeks. We got to see lots of family, the boys had a blast with their D.D. (Jason's mom), Cole got to celebrate his birthday multiple times, Caleb was a sweetie staying with friends, and Jason and I had a wonderful time at camp. It was great to spend some quality time with teenagers again. It reminded me how much I love spending time with them, praying for and with them, and just being a part of their lives. I'm hoping to start teaching at church again soon.
I tried to narrow some of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks, but it was hard. These are from 4th of July weekend where I took Cole and Connor to my aunt's house and then on to D.D's house. Later I'll share some from camp and birthday boy Cole.

Some pics from this past week
I am heading out of town tomorrow for the weekend and next week for camp so this will probably be the only post for a couple of weeks. We have been super busy this summer and I've been so homesick. We haven't had a chance to go "home" this year so I'm really looking forward to seeing my family at my aunt's this weekend.
I thought I share a few pictures of Cole and Connor though since I was just downloading them. The first is just some sprinkler fun. Then, Connor had a blast with a bubble machine we bought as you can tell. :)

Caleb is One
I can hardly believe it's been a year since our little surprise came into our lives. Caleb turns one year old today! It's amazing how times zooms by and they grow up in the blink of an eye. My baby boy won't be a baby much longer. It's bittersweet recognizing this though I look forward to watching him grow and I know he can't wait to run with his big brothers.
We had his party last night and he had so much fun! At first, he wasn't sure what was going on, but by the time he'd opened presents and was eating cake, he realized something was special. Here's a few pictures from his day yesterday as you can see he also got his first haircut. It was a big day for such a little guy!
And my favorite...

Crazy Cole and his Swim Lessons
Cole has been taking swim lessons all week at our local activity center. There are about 20 little kids in his class and it's been quite hilarious to watch. He wasn't happy on Monday, but has been loving it every other day and doing great. Jason took some pics today that I've shared below, but first you gotta hear what Cole told his instructors. They were practicing blowing bubbles and going under water and he said "I don't want to blow bubbles anymore because it makes me have to poop." He's crazy! I wish I could get into that little head sometimes. At least he had his teachers laughing!
