Going digital... Well, sort of

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements about a year ago, but had used it very little until this week.  One of my goals for scrapbooking this year is to learn more about it and how to incorporate it into  my layouts, so I jumped right in this week. I bought a great magazine, Computer Tricks for Scrapbooking 2, which has been a great help in learning and has great inspiration.  I also have been reading some great tutorials from Prima Hybrid.  I did these two layouts this week.  They are both hybrid pages, a mix of digital and traditional products.

Great day for pictures

Today was a beautiful day, in the 70s and sunny, with a little breeze.  It was gorgeous!  So, we decided it would be a great afternoon for taking some pictures of the boys, but they thought otherwise.  Still, we got some cute shots.  I have to thank Tracy for the cute shirts she got the boys for Christmas!

Jason took some pictures of Caleb and me before we left for the park.  There were a couple of great ones, but this one is my favorite.

This next one (to the right) is of course, Caleb in the swing.  He loved it.  This is his first time to get to swing at the park and he was in the best mood being outside with his big brothers.

I just fell in love with this shot Jason took of me walking with Cole & Connor.  Cole doesn't let me hold his hand too often anymore, so I definitely want to cherish these moments.

Then, we've got Connor-man with his hair blowing in the wind.  This was one of the few shots of him actually smiling today, more because he was camera shy than anything else.

A new blog

This is our new blog.  I was getting frustrated with some things at our old one and wanted to do more customization so here we are.

Happy Birthday Connor!

Connor, I can't believe you are two years old today. You are getting so big so fast. Some days you want to be that big boy, but other days you remind us you're still a baby too. We love you so much! You are such a sweet, caring little guy. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you though hope it doesn't come too soon.

Cole's Valentine's Party

Cole enjoyed a sugared up Valentine's Party at WeeSchool today. As you can see he is really enjoying that sucker :).
